  • What is your Nitro 5 model number, its a bit hard to give you precise details and advice if you just ask a question like "i got a acer nitro 5 recently" which means nothing???

Generally speaking with Nitro laptops as I've been using an AN515-56 daily and like 8 hours a day 24/7 without any problems, as what I've found is this and you need to do these things for gaming, have you installed all the NVidia software for gaming?

You need to install the Nitro 5 laptop that you have last bios and gpu firmware (never allow windows update to install a bios or gpu firmware update for your laptop) as it will brick your laptop, be warned and never allow that to happen. Installing a bios or a gpu firmware you need experience to be able to do these updates, be very careful as to install these software's correctly and not brick your laptop, you need to be careful, and NOT disturb their installation process and/or have any power outages while these software's are installing, and also turn any anti-virus, malware software's off.

Then make sure that you are running your games with the last RTX3050 NVidia driver for Win-11 from the NVidia site, also install GeForce Experience software and run the Valorant game under this software's settings, because Valorant is included in this software's NVidia ultimate game settings for your RTX3050 gpu. Also set Valorant game in NVidia Control Panel at Program Settings to High-performance NVidia processor and have all the Intel drivers up to date with the Intel® Driver & Support Assistant scan and also make sure that all the windows updates are up to date, as doing all this will make your laptop perform to its best, as laptops do overheat with gaming, but they are designed to run at high temps so and if you get 90
