How many SATA3 ports in an Acer XC-780 Aspire micro tower PC?

I tried to add a SATA3 1TB SSD into my Acer XC-780 Aspire micro tower PC. But, I can see only 2 SATA ports: 1 connected to an existing hard disk

    Do you already have a big enough SSD in the M.2 slot? As you discovered there are only two SATA connectors on the motherboard, typically for a HDD and ODD. The M.2 slot though provides the ability to add a third SATA drive. Note that the design is old enough that the M.2 slot is SATA only, no support for NVMe.

    Of course, that video is for a different model, so ignore what they say about possible upgrades and only look at how they do it. It is very similar to yours.
