I have a Aspire A315-59 with the MediaTek Wifi adapter. Want to change to a Intel adapter. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

This laptop also comes with the Intel® Wireless-AC 9560 Wi-Fi/BT card (see caption below) as you can swap that for that Intel card. Your card is the Mediatek MT7663BE below that.

Don't try and fit the newer AX type 6 or 6E type Wi-Fi cards with their System Interface Type: M.2: CNVio2 cards as they are not compatible with your laptop and will not work with these new band Wi-Fi 6 and 6E technologies, keep to the AC type cards.

On A315-59 I removed MTK7902 and installed Intel AX210, works perfectly.

Thank you for advising the community on this successful Wi-Fi card upgrade for the Aspire 3 A315-59 and that will also work with the Aspire A315-59G model from the MTK7902 card to this new Intel® Wi-Fi 6E AX210 card as the oem AC type card the FM 9560 NGWG.NG type (802.11ac) has virtually the same specs with bands type 2.4, 5 GHz (160 MHz) Max Speed 1.73 Gbps Wi-Fi CERTIFIED* Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) Compliance FIPS, FISMA Integrated Bluetooth with Bluetooth Version 5.1 and the new Intel® Wi-Fi 6E AX210 card should work well and be virtually the same with the capability of Wi-Fi 6. This is very useful information👍
