How to fix Acer Nitro AN515-55 power indicator stuck on a solid amber light?

Issue just happened this week. Laptop still charges to 100% and the battery indicator is solid blue when it is fully charged. It's just that the power indicator is stuck on a solid amber light even when unplugged. Sometimes, although it rarely happens, the power indicator flashes from amber to blue.

    Make a Battery Report with the Windows Command Prompt: powercfg /batteryreport See what the full charge (100%) battery capacity is, if a lot lower than the design capacity or there is no 100% charge reported you need to replace the 2-year-old battery. If the battery condition is looking OK you either have a charger issue (check the output VDC with a multimeter, or try another adapter), a bad adapter plug (you should feel a click when inserting the plug pin in the DC port and the plug fits tightly in the port), or you need to reset the battery and do a power drain described in this Acer community. After that uninstall the 2 MS battery drivers and just reboot:

    I tried to do a power drain but my laptop is still fully charged when I plug in the charger
