Hello all,

I just did a USB Root Hub Driver update via Auslogics driver updater on my E5-521 and now my two USB ports on the right hand side of my laptop is not working. Please advise on what is the fix.

Thank you

To fix this wrongly updated USB driver, go to Device Manager > Universal Serial Bus Controller > Root Hub Driver of your laptop, and rollback the to the previous driver version, don't use those updater software's as they will always install the wrong drivers and you will end up that these updating software's will brick your laptop or make components not work.

Only use the latest AMD graphics and chipset drivers appropriate for your integrated cpu graphics and chipset versions from AMD and the E1-521 drivers from its Acer Driver & Manual page or whatever windows update updates this laptop drivers to and are appropriate to Win-10.

Thank you very much StevenGen, I rolled back drivers and now both ports are working again.
