Today due to some reason I had to format the NVME and reload windows in my Acer Nitro AN515-58. To my surprise, After loading windows 11, on getting updated , suddenly the screen went black. I tried various method but to no avail. I had to again load windows and this time I immediately kept the updates off. After much prodding, I came to know that the Intel VGA driver was causing the problem. I tried to update the VGA graphic driver from Acer site drivers but nothing is working.
The laptop works good when microsoft driver ( default) is being used, however it locks the screen resolution and thus games in steam, GOG, Epic cannot be played. Please someone help. My laptop is only 24 days old.
