Hi. my laptop was working alright. i decided to give it a restart. it got stuck on the acer screen, and it never proceeded further than that. no matter how many times i turned it back on, it remained stuck there.

this issue came out of nowhere. there were no prior issues, no recent windows updates.

model is Acer Swift 3 SF314511, the OS is Windows 11

things i've tried:

  1. entered BIOS, and reset to default settings. no change.
  2. from BIOS, tried to change the UEFI settings, but it was greyed out.
  3. after 2 force shutdowns, i was able to enter the windows recovery environment, from there i had it run startup/automatic repair. it wasnt able to fix it.
  4. from there, was able to enter into safe mode. was able to backup my data, and also tried removing any recent software id installed, in case theyd turned out malicious. but no change. also wasn't able to enter safe mode anymore.
  5. from WinRE, uninstalled some windows updates. that also did nothing.
  6. from WinRE, reset my pc while choosing the option keep my files. it reinstalled windows from cloud. but right when it was done, and was booting up, it got stuck at the acer screen too.

at one point, the screen went into recovery mode saying "Your PC/Device needs to be reparied" giving the error code: 0x000000f

Please, any help is appreciated.
