I bought the acer predator orion 3000 po3-600 a few years ago but I want to upgrade my GPU but I don’t know if it will support the GPU or if it will fit.

What are the maximum dimensions and what GPU’s does it support?

The Predator Orion 3000 - PO3-600 came oem with either a GTX1060 6GB GDDR5 or a GTX1070 8GB GDDR5 GPU and has an ATX 500W PSU that could power these gpu's for this desktop when it was released. This desktops 500W PSU has a 24 pin power plug that the mainboard and GPUs are powered by, so you can upgrade its PSU to one of the newest ATX Modular PSUs, that will make your GPU upgrade to the best that your budget will allow for the power supply and gaming preferences that you need but, only upgrade to what this desktops specs are which is compatible to this desktops i7-8700 CPU that has 6 cores/12 threads/3.2 GHz-4.6 GHz/L2 cache 1,5MB/L3 cache 12MB/TDP 65W

As far as some opinions the best GPU for the PO3-600 with its Intel i7 8700 CPU and having this desktop max RAM at DDR4-3200MHz CL22 DDR3200Mhz (see the Crucial Acer PREDATOR PO3-600 RAM & SSD Upgrades) depends firstly on your budget and purpose of usage, as these below GPUs all need more than a 500W PSU as the RTX3080 needs a 750W PSU. Some of the options are as follows:

    1. RTX 3080 - PSU 750W PSU: The best GPU for high-end gaming at 1440p and 4K resolutions. It offers a massive boost in FPS compared to previous-gen RTX cards. It is also the most expensive option.
    2. RTX 3060 - PSU 550W: The best GPU for mid-range gaming at 1080p and 1440p resolutions. It offers a good balance between performance and price. It is also the most power-efficient option.
    3. RTX 2070 650W Super: A strong GPU for high-resolution gaming. It works well with any CPU and has a decent price. It is also widely available in the market.

Good luck and hope this helps you out. Also consider buying a new desktop like the PO3-650or as they are a much better option for an upgrade of a desktop.

Better than any of the PO3 models would be the PO5 or PO7. The full size case allows for easier upgrades for almost anything.
