I own a nitro 5 an515 58 50ye. Yesterday I accidentally drained my laptop while gaming and put the charger on, but it won't gain a percent. It stayed at 0% until now. It works fine with the charger on but if I unplug the charger, it automatically will power off. What should I do in this situation?

If you did not change the Advanced Power Plan setting your laptop should turn off automatically at 4% charge (hibernate mode) so that cannot cause a battery to be drained to zero. Run a Battery Report in Windows and check if the last full charge capacity is indeed zero. A depleted battery has dead cell(s) and cannot be recharged anymore. Try to reset BIOS, boot to BIOS with F2 and press F9 (reset) and save settings on Exit. Boot to Windows and in Device Manager uninstall the 2 battery drivers.

Reboot and see if the battery will charge. If no luck, buy an OEM replacement battery:
