Acer Chromcast 315 the power light is not coming on when charging

You are getting blue light indication it says unit is charging. Try to do,

# Try to get the BIOS page.

1. Turn OFF the unit.

​2. Press and hold the F2 key and turn on the unit. 


3. You will be in setup utility page.


4. Once you got the screen release the F2 key.


5. Tap on F9 key and hit enter key without changing the option.


6. Tap on F10 key and hit enter key without changing the option.
7. Your unit will restart by itself. 

Check this T/S and post the result.

You can ignore that previous suggestion, since yours isn't a Windows laptop and therefore ChatGPT got it wrong. :) We need to know which Chromebook you have, there have been a lot of different ones. Your full model number is usually on the same sticker as your serial number, it should look something like CB315-xxx-xxxx. Do you get any lights at all when the charger is plugged in? Do you have any way to test the charger to verify it's working?
