I need to replace the boot drive on my Nitro. Where can I download a restore boot image for my device (Preferably one that can be used from USB)?

To Clean install Widows see this 2 links:

To migrate your present Boot drive to a new drive read this:

This is a failsafe method to migrate a boot drive to a new drive, you need a large USB backup drive and a FAT32 formatted 10GB USB-2 flash drive. No software is required just Windows10 or Windows11.

Insert the USB Backup drive in the fastest USB port (Thunderbolt?). In windows Control Panel look for W7 Backup at the top and click on that, at the top of the W7 BU screen on the left you see create Image file, click on that and your BU drive will be detected. Click on next and the BU process should start (3 volumes will be backed up) use defaults don't change anything. Takes about an hour for 500GB data. When completed (successfully) you will be prompted for a USB Restore or "Emergency" disk, insert the USB flash drive in a USB-2 port and click: Yes. This takes 30 minutes. Shutdown the laptop. Open the laptop and replace the old boot drive with a new NTFS reformatted drive.

Insert the USB recovery flash drive in the USB2.0 port and Boot to BIOS with F2, move to the BIOS Boot Devices screen and if you see the USB Recovery flash drive move it to the top of the boot devices list with the F6 key. Save settings and shutdown. Connect your USB backup drive to the fast USB port and boot without F2 (with the USB Recovery flash drive). You will get the WindowsRE screen. Select Restore from an Image file and the Backup drive (E:) will be located, select the image file you just made:

I recommend the above W7 BU method that has been around for 15 years and, although very simple, works 100%, not the W7 BU File History part just the Image creating app that you can even mount in File Explorer.

Another and easier suggestion as this is how I’ve done many clean install of windows, go to Rufus and download the rufus-4.2.exe and follow the instructions of how to construct a windows installation on a 3.0 USB, make sure that when you do a Clean Install, on the same USB you have an unzipped IRST (Intel® Rapid Storage Technology) Driver version 17.5.2.1024 for your laptop that is at its Drivers & Manuals page, so that when you get to the windows installation part that asks “Where do you want to install Windows?” you can go to “Load driver” and install this driver and then format the M.2 SSD boot drive C:\ so that you can continue the windows installation, be aware as you must do this to be able to install windows on your new M.2 SSD drive.

Be aware also that the Nitro AN517-51 laptop has all the appropriate specs for a Win-11 upgrade, so I would be doing a clean install of the Win-11 OS on a new boot 1TB PCIe 3x4 M.2 SSD drive as all the Win-11 components and OS drivers will be installed from Windows Update, and then you should go to Nvidia and install the latest Win-11 GPU driver and also install the Intel® Driver & Support Assistant and do a scan so that you have all the latest Intel Win-11 drivers installed also, as after you have done all this, also install the last bios version 1.33 as then your laptop will be up to date and will be running the latest Win-11 and will work perfectly.
