Hello, i already have this problem since a years ago but i do not really care until now.
So i used my laptop with batteries, then when the batteries critically low, i plugged in the charger, then the temperature start rising, fan spin really fast and performance dropped. before this, with plugged in i can get a good fps on game. after this incident, my performance on plugged in is really bad.. (like low fps, high cpu & gpu temperature etc) even after i restart my laptop.

Somehow, re-enable Nvidia driver (from device manager) fixed gpu issue, but the temperature issue is still exist. And after another restart, this GPU issue is back and i need to re-enable nvidia driver again for each restart.

It already happend so many times, it fixed itself eventually, but its take time, sometime its fix a day, but sometimes it fix 2 - 3 weeks. is someone know what happen, and how to handle or even prevent this?

Don't play games with battery only. Shutdown and close the lid. Charge the laptop till you see the amber charge LED turn blue, wait 5 minutes and boot to Windows. Check the temperatures now. Only disconnect the power adapter when you are doing light work/idle and are on the move. You can leave the adapter plugged in 24/7 without any issues. When the battery is showing wear the power adapter is working twice as hard, your GPU during heavy gaming and charging a depleted battery, the adapter, the battery and the laptop will get hot and performance (CPU) will drop. Also run a battery report in windows and check the last full charge capacity.
