How to set the battery charging limit to 80% on Acer Spin 5

Hi there!

I would like to ask if anyone knows how to set up my Acer Spin 5 to only charge the battery up to certain % like 80%? When I plug in my Spin 5, it always charge up to 100% which may not be healthy for the battery.

Any help would be much appreciated:)

Go to the Acer Care Centre > Checkup > Battery charge limit and set it to On from Off like below, btw I never use this setting as it makes no difference as it doesn't do anything and could destroy your battery, so be aware of this also!

That only works with some revisions of Acer Care Center on some models. It doesn't really help with battery life, and does tend to generate a lot of tech support activity, so they have been removing it from many of the versions that used to have it.
