Should I paste a heatsink onto my PCH to passively cool it - Nitro 5 AN 515 54?

I have a 2019 Nitro 5 and my PCH is making the fans go crazy. I undervolted the CPU and repasted too. The temps are very low now on the CPU and GPU, except for the PCH.

When the PCH reaches 65 degrees, the fans start to ramp up high, this happens very often and is irritating, the entire time the CPU and GPU hardly cross 75 degrees.

There is no heatsink over the PCH which is the cause of my problem. I have found a fix to this but I need suggestions as to whether I should go ahead with it or not. This is the fix. Basically, I will paste a copper heatsink onto the PCH with thermal glue, but I’m afraid that it might come off later and short something on the motherboard.

So, should I do this or is there a better fix like a cooling pad or something?

The Nitro AN515-54 fans spin to these temps for its cpu/gpu, don't add anything that could damage your laptop, these laptops need their thermal pads and cpu/gpu pasted with new pads and paste every 12 months and their fans cleaned regularly if the laptop is used more than 5 hours per day and is used in a dusty environment.

@StevenGen Mine stays at 4500 rpm even when the CPU and GPU are in the 50s or anywhere around 65. What do you think might be the cause? I think it is the PCH, is there something else that might be the problem?

In other threads, it seems that users had this problem on the an515-54, when installing two nvme ssds. Would that be the problem?
