I encountered the issue on my Acer Nitro 5 where the screen goes black, and this time leaving it alone did not fix it. I discovered in the device manager it wasn’t recognising the laptop screen and the AMD integrated GPU was dispaying error 43. I saw online the solution to this error was to uninstall and reinstall the drivers. I did this to no success, but missed a step saying to use the AMD clean up tool to make sure all the files were gone. I Uninstalled the drivers again and started the AMD cleanup which asked to reboot my laptop in safe mode and upon doing so it has stopped projecting the screen via HDMI altogether so I am now unable to see anything when the computer turns on. Is there anything else I can do to try and fix this?
