How can I preserve the battery life and optimize performance of my Acer Aspire A514-53 laptop

I would appreciate your expert advice on the following questions:

  1. Battery Health: Is it normal for the laptop's battery capacity to decrease by almost 40% within two years, given that I have completed approximately 800+ charging cycles? What factors contribute to this reduction in battery capacity, and is there anything I can do to prevent such significant decline in the future?
  2. Battery Optimization: Could you provide some best practices to maintain my laptop's battery health? For example, should I avoid shallow discharges, and how often should I perform full charge and discharge cycles? What charging levels are considered optimal to minimize stress on the battery cells and prevent overcharging?
  3. Bypass Charging: As I use my laptop continuously for work and keep it connected to a power source all the time, I'm interested in the concept of bypass charging. Can you explain how it works and whether it's a viable option for extending battery life? Are there any potential risks or warranty implications associated with this approach?
  4. Overheating and Fan Noise: I have noticed my laptop occasionally overheating, accompanied by high-speed fan noises. How can I reduce overheating issues and ensure proper cooling for the laptop's internal components? Are there specific power settings or other measures I can take to optimize performance while minimizing background processes that may contribute to overheating?

1: 20%/year battery wear is standard, you have to replace a battery after 4 years. there is no such thing as battery preservation.

2: Just use your battery normally, don't try to limit the charging with ACC or bloatware battery limiters, leave your power adapter plugged-in when not using your laptop and don't tinker with the critical battery settings in advanced Power Plan, the laptop should go automatically into hibernate mode below 5% battery charge, when accidently draining the battery to zero (hang or crash) you won't be able to charge it. Avoid overheating, keep/use the laptop in a cool place on a hard surface, slightly raised, avoid blocking the vents.

3: The SMART chip inside a LI-Ion battery will divert power delivery to the PSU (MOBO) after 100% charge has been reached.

4: Don't use High or Ultra Performance Power Plan but Balanced Power Plan, when playing games always plug-in the adapter, keep your fan clean, after 2 years open up the back, disconnect the battery cable from the MOBO and take out the fan to clean it with a soft brush and PC ball blower, DON'T USE VACUUM CLEANERS OR COMPRESSED AIR, and never try to lubricate anything in laptop, including the hinges. There is a dust trap in front of the heatsink (see video) that after 2 years will have a strip of lint and dust that you may need to peel off, if you play a lot of big games for hours consider a 5-fan powerful cooling pad the size of your laptop.

thank you very much for your advice also elaborating your 3rd point i.e if i keep it plugged in even after 100% then the laptop We'll be usin Power with the adapter from the wall Socket. So is it safer to keep it plugged in? or just let it drain to 5%? and then plug it, plug back in.

I always keep my adapter plugged-in 24/7, only when I move outside to my deck, I use battery only. makes no difference to the battery, that recent hype about battery longevity and "training" is a left over from the old Ni-Cad type batteries that supposedly suffered from much disputed charge memory effects. None of that has ever been tested (purely anecdotal) and are not applicable to Li-Ion batteries. whether you operate between 90-100% charge or 5-100% charge has no effect on the lifespan of your Li-Ion battery.
