Change the settings for the NVidia gpu in the NVidia Control Panel at Program Settings for a particular high-end software or a game and either use the software or play the game, and see if the gpu works or shows anything in the Nitro Sense and if it reads anything? As the NVidia gpu doesn’t always read a reading in Nitro Sense., this is how the Nitro Sense reads mostly when not playing or operating demanding software.

In addition I want to say that it is Dgpu that will only work when you play games, benchmark in which Nvidia Gpu is in use. @StevenGen already said most important things

What is your Nitro model number, as my Nitro is the AN515-56 - i7-11370H - RTX3050 4gb and with a PCIe 3 x4 M.2 SSD WD 1TB SN750 Black overclocked inside its WD Dashboard Software to gaming and I've never ever had your problems and I play allot of games on this laptop, the above caption was taken after 2 hours of just web browsing and being on the Acer community and as you can see the RTX3050 didn't even register and was idle. There must be something wrong with your laptop as I've updated the bios 3 times on this laptop and I'm running its last bios version 1.08 and its never ever affected anything even when I did a clean install of win-11 as this laptop came pre-installed with win-10 and it runs perfectly and never ever missed a beat as I keep it always up to date both its windows, NVidia drivers and intel drivers but never ever install unnecessary software and that is why it runs perfectly.
