I got my laptop a year ago. It was running fine until these past few months. I can barely run any games that used to run fine before, browsing also gets laggy at times and overall the laptop has gotten really slow. As for my specs: i5 9300h, 8gb ram, gtx 1650, 500 GB SSD. Is there anything I can do to fix this issue?

Open Task Manager and on the Performance>Memory tab look at the speed if that is at least 2667 MHz. Check the RAM available, if you are using >80% of your RAM you need to upgrade your RAM to 2x16GB DDR4 or uninstall some of the programs like 3rd party Anti-Virus, Adobe trial, Office365 trial and all your bloatware you don't need. Make Windows Edge your default browser and uninstall Firefox as browsers compete for your resources. You may have a lot of bagage on your drives that needs deleting like old files and remnants of Windows updates and OldDos (many GBs). Run Storage Sense to clean that up and click on the Temp bin at the bottom of Storage Sense window. Reboot and make sure you are online, and internet is working, refresh your system image paste this line in the Command Prompt opened as administrator: Dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
That should end as "Success", rerun if DISM fails or hangs, than paste this line in that same Command Prompt:
SFC /scannow That should and with "No integrity violations found", keep rerunning SFC till you see that. Finally trim or optimize your drives.
