Hello!
I have as my main laptop an Acer Aspire 5 A515-51G-739J for a few years, but for a while, I have encountered some problems that made it unusable for me.
For a few days, I had encountered some problems with charging it, more exactly being that I can't charge the computer while it's powered on, resulting with the battery and power lights blinking at the same time (or even just the power light blinking in some cases). I took it to a repair shop once and they told me that it was just a software issue, but after a few days the problem persisted.
Also, it's a good thing to know that:
- I don't have the original charger that it came with. I got an original one from a certified shop that has the exact same output values like the one that came with the computer (got it in March 2023);
- I use this computer for some gaming and sometimes high-power apps like AutoCAD and Adobe Photoshop, where having the laptop connected could be considered as a necessity.
Do you think that it would be a software issue? Do I need to get an internal part changed? I will try to consider every response.
Thank you.
