Nitro 5 AN515-46 NO ability for 2.5 drive upgrade option?

It seems this model does not have the clip necessary to attach the ribbon cable for a 2.5 hard drive upgrade on the laptop motherboard itself even though it has the open space to install the drive. I am wondering if this is an oversight or an intentional design by Acer for this specific model as all other models seem to have the clip allowing the user to use a cable to connect a 2.5” drive.

Yes, this model doesn't have 2.5"HDD by design, you have only two M.2 SSD slots for storage.

Just in addition and to what could be happening with your Nitro AN515-46/47 as both of these laptops do have the 2.5" SATA HDD option and space and kit provided for certain regions by Acer. This is illustrated in their joint service guide which illustrates a 2.5" HDD drive, your region Acer must not provide the AN515-46 with a 2.5" HDD option like it does for others.
