How to use USB C to HDMI adapter for Aspire Vero (for dual monitor set-up)

I've tried 2 different USB C to HDMI adapters, but the laptop can't detect the addition monitors. If this is a true USB C, it should be able to support this function. I want to have 2 different images on the monitors, not the same content (mirror). How do I fix this?

I your model is from 2022 (AV14-51-59UW) the USB-C/Thunderbolt 4 port will support Video out.

If an older model (2021 USB Type-C 3.2) without Thunderbolt3-4 it will be a Gen1 port (No support for display out).

The model number is AV15-51-7617, MFG date is 7/2022. I've tried a Selore SEUC0704 (USB-C to Dual 4K Display Port Splitter Adapter / Dual Monitor Converter) , and a Dell WD19S (USB Type-C, HDMI, Dual Display Port).

I have the same issue with a USB C multi port adapter that works on a Dell laptop (W10) but not my new Acer 5 laptop (W11) - I'm not sure of the mfg date but I only bought it (from Acer UK) a few weeks back. While the built in HDMI drives the monitor I would like to drive 2 monitors as I do on the Dell laptop.
