Good day everyone.

I need help installing Windows 10/11 on a laptop Model Name: A315-59 | Part Number: NX.K6SER.00. 12 generation processor according to bios.

When installing the operating system, you must specify the location of the Intel® Rapid Storage Technology (Intel® RST.

There are no drivers for Windows 10 on the driver page - only for 11. I downloaded them from the Intel website here: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/19512/intel-rapid-storage-technology -driver-installation-software-with-intel-optane-memory-10th-and-11th-gen-platforms.html?

And here: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/720755/intel-rapid-storage-technology-driver-installation-software-with-intel-optane-memory-11th-up -to-13th-gen-platforms.html?

The installation was done according to the instructions from Intel:
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000057787/memory-and-storage/intel-optane-memory.html

In all cases, when installing Windows 11 with drivers from Acer, and with drivers from Intel for Windows 10/11, the result is the same - the device was not detected.

I attached a photo of the bios screen and this driver installation to the message.

What is wrong with me?

Note: You ONLY install Win-11 onto the Aspire A315-59 laptop DO NOT INSTALL WIN-10 as this laptop works the best with Win-11 only!

When you install Win-11 put the unzipped "IRST (Intel® Rapid Storage Technology) Driver - Version:19.2.0.1003 for your laptop model (get this from the Ace Drivers & Manuals" page) onto the same USB as the Win-11 installation USB and then when you get to the section of the Win-11 installation of "Where do you want to install Windows" then install the IRST driver and then and after your boot M.2 SSD drive is recognized, format the drive and continue the Win-11 installation, once you finish the installation make sure you install all Windows Updates, that is how you should do the install.

    Did as you advised.
The result is in the photo.

Am I the only laptop owner on the planet that can't install an OS?
    What is wrong with me?

    Our solution.
I will describe in stages what was done, but a little later.

Looking ahead, I will say that the advice helped, but it was not so easy to do it.

What he did in the end.

    1. Using the Media Creation Tool, I got the image of Windows 11.
    2. Using UltraISO Portable, I added a folder with drivers downloaded from the product page to the image.
    3. I recorded the image according to the instructions:
      https://onoutbukax.ru/bootable-flash-drive-ultraiso/
It’s clear from the picture, looking at the fact that the instruction is in Russian, what needs to be done.
    4. I started the installation of the system and selected the folder with the drivers.
The installer found the device and continued the installation.

To be honest, this is the first time I've encountered this way of installing drivers.
For as long as I can remember, it was enough to specify a floppy disk / disk / flash drive with drivers when installing the OS, and the operating system installer found the controller and disks on it.

This is the way to Intel apparently.

In the last photo, the disk is already with the system installed - the photo was taken during the re-installation process in order to make sure that the method works.

Thanks a lot for the tip StevenGen!

I understand that you're experiencing issues installing Windows 10/11 on your Acer laptop model A315-59. Based on your description, it seems that you have followed the instructions provided by Intel and Acer's driver page. However, you are encountering difficulties with the installation.

While I'm unable to view the attached photo or access external links, I can offer some general troubleshooting suggestions. Firstly, ensure that you have the correct drivers like warrior specifically designed for your laptop model and the corresponding operating system version. Double-check the compatibility of the drivers with both your laptop model and the version of Windows you are installing.
