Acer Spin 5 SP513-51-361Y SSD upgrade: list of compatible components

Hello,

I'm looking to upgrade my Spin 5 SP513-51-361Y storage space (currently 128GB), but unfortunately at the moment I can't get to disassemble it to check the components first-hand.

I am aiming for a 500GB/1TB SSD.

Is there a public list of compatible SSDs and components somewhere?

If not, can anyone tell me what form factor or type of SSD should I look for?

Also, is there a free additional slot or will I have to replace the stock SSD?

Finally, since we are here, does this model have a replaceable RAM and if so, which RAM types are compatible if I wanted to upgrade it as well?

Thank you in advance to whomever can answer my questions.

Your model has onboard 8 GB DDR4 system memory. RAM is soldered to the mainboard and cannot be upgraded. Open your laptop to confirm that there is no removable DDR4 slot.

The Acer Spin 5 SP513-51-57TP model has 4GB soldered DDR4 on the MOBO and one empty slot for a removable 8GB DDR4 total 12GB total RAM (DDR4 PC4-17000 2133MHz Non-ECC SODIMM)

You only have 1 M.2 SSD slot so you have to replace the current SSD for an upgrade.
Here are some tested SSDs recommended by Acer:

You can use a 1TB or 2TB SSD.

Your SP513-51 is old enough the SSD needs to be SATA, there is only one PCIe channel going to it.
