Hi all,

I have an Acer Aspire 5 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-1135G7 @ 2.40GHz 2.42 GHz, RAM 20 GB, dedicated gpu MX350 . The problem is that I have low FPS or FPS drop whenever I play videogames, also not demanding ones (like League of Legends). I already tried many solutions (driver update, managing video options in videgame settings ecc) but nothing changes. By reading other articles online there seems to be a specific problem with this model (Aspire 5), but I do not know the solution (if any).

What is the exact Aspire 5 model number, should be something like A515-xx-xxxx. With these dedicated gpui laptops and with your NVidia MX350, you should be running Win-11 and the Nvidia GeForce Game Ready Driver Version: 536.40 WHQL, also you need to install the GeForce Experience software and set all your games in the Nvidia Control Panel to the High-performance Nvidia processor. As the GeForce Experience automatically sets the best settings for over 1500 games that Nvidia has gone to great lengths to calibrate the best settings for your MX350 gpu. Try all the above software as the above will improve your FPS considerably. Also make sure that all Intel drivers and windows updates are up to date and look at the bios updates if there are any firmware updates for your laptops MX350 gpu, as all this will make your laptop perform to its peak performance.
