Does AO725 Work on "plug only" (without Battery at all)?Can this be solvable issue

If it should work, like the most of Laptops I have do (I have read about that some few do not, but never had experienced such a case), this would mean that the problem is somewhere else as in the missing of a battery. I would appreciate an answer to this question before buying a new battery for that old piece of hardware I still find very usefull while traveling with light baggage. Thank you.

The laptop does not any signal at all whil dc charger is plugged in; no ligts at all, no sounds, nothing. Can this be due a different but solvable issue? Thanks again.

The way to find out is to disconnect the battery from the laptop or if inside from the motherboard and try to boot with the power adapter only. If that works you still would need a portable UPS or power pack as the slightest change in city power would crash your system.
