Hello, Im experiencing laptop a lost of performance in my nitro AN515-57 which is very unusual. This is exactly what happened. I was playing valorant (plugged in, I have good ventilation, updated windows and and nitro boost is set on high performance) then the fps suddenly drops from 100-20 and after that game even other games are affected. What can I do with this problem?

    Welcome @rTimo,

Please, download and run the HWMonitor tool while you play Valorant and notice this drop in FPS performance.

Then, attach here a screenshot with the results of all the available sensors.

    Thanks for the screenshots!

I am finding it a bit strange that HWMonitor reports "Power Limit" and "Temperature Limit" equal "1" (yes=1 / no=0) for NVIDIA GPU. It is possible that your charger source is not able to supply the power consumption of your laptop.

    Before, try this:

    a) Check in Task Manager that there are no processes or services consuming CPU, Memory and Disk resources excessively.

    b) Try updating the NVIDIA GeForce Driver and GeForce Experience with the latest available version:

    c) Also, check if there are no patches available for the Valorant game.

Thanks. I already update my NVIDIA drivers and check if theres any patches available. But my fps still runs 30-50 even it is plugged in.Btw this is my task manager screenshot.

Your Google Chrome browser is consuming too much RAM resource on your system. Try updating it along with your extensions. Preferably keep it closed when playing.

Yes its closed when I'm playing. I try again everything is closed just the game that I play then the fps is still low. This is very unusual because the performance went down. From 100 fps plugged in to 30-40 fps plugged in then 60-70 fps unplugged to 30-40 unplugged.

I can say very unusual because my laptop is 7 months old with me without problem and it the problem occurs suddenly. I try updating drivers, playing plugged in having good cooling environment and playing without other apps running. I also try using diff charger with same voltage( a charger from my friend that is also a nitro user) but nothing changes.

I can imagine how frustrating that is!

    a) Try repair the Valorant installation and install the latest Visual C++ Redistributable Runtimes All-in-One.

    b) Apply these tweaks to optimize Valorant:

But it's no applicable on valorant only. All the fps of my games suddenly drop. I don't think that is a valorant

    Hi @rTimo!

However, Visual C++ Runtime Library can be used by other applications and games. Preferably keep the charger's power supply cable plugged in when you are running games. It is also recommended to charge the battery when the laptop is turned off.

Is your charger supply 135W or 180W?

    It's 180W charger
