Hi guys

I'm looking for help and just found a handfull of posts over google about this issue without a solution. If I activate "Auto Brightness" on the settings of the monitor itself, it just darkens my screen. Even if I put my finger on the "light sensor" on top of the screen, or light up with flashlight, the monitor doesn't change its brightness.

Anyone else with this issue? What is the solution? Is it an RMA?

Sensors can't be too sensitive or respond too quickly to small objects or small ambient light changes, else the screen would appear to flicker with occasional shadows & movements during normal use. A fully darkened room should noticeably dim the screen to a comfortable level. A fully lit room should noticeably brighten it.
