I have an acer aspire z5771 a computer all in one and for some time I have been investigating the possibility of being able to install a gt 1030 ddr5 and I am confused from what I have found out some say that if it is possible others say no and in the end I have not given an accurate answer to my question which generates uncertainty because in that case I would have to take the risk which worries me because I intend to make a good purchase and not waste my money someone who can inform me properly or can give me an accurate answer to my question? and in case it is not possible that other options I have to change gpu? I would appreciate it very much, for the moment have good day

Hi @levyenginer what characteristics does this graph have, do you know its exact brand and model? Is it a GDDR5 instead of a DDR5?

    Thank you.
    All the best.

Friend, I'm afraid I'm not going to be able to give you a YES or NO answer either, I think the card will be recognized by the port but I don't think it can work satisfactorily.

I also leave a thread from the community where he installed himself and later had problems with some games, I'm afraid because of the great demand that a game requires of the graphics card.

As you can see in the screenshots, it supports less demanding NVidia cards, perhaps the card you mention is not suitable for that computer.

    Thank you so much.
    All the best.

No problem it's info that works for me and well according to what the guy says if you have to carry out this procedure every time you want to use the graphics for me is not a problem although I think that maybe the error that may have the guy or that could help him is trying to put the gt 1030 as preferred graphics in the nvida panel could be the problem

No, it won't work. The cards you reference are designed to have the video ports on the back of the computer, not fed back into the motherboard. You could potentially plug one in, but there would be no way to connect a monitor without cutting holes in the case.
