After months on here, YouTube, and Reddit I have pulled the trigger on building out my po5-640. Also Shoutout to @chugzilla for telling me they finally unlocked XMP.

Installed upgrades:

RTX 4090FE

I9-12900k

Noctua u12a

Top mounted frostblade exhaust x2

Samsung 980pro

Corsair 1000w platinum psu

Corsair 40 series gpu power cable

Corsair dominator platinum 5600 ram 32g

CoolerMaster v3 vertical gpu mount

First off, hats off to Noctua. A few Reddit threads had me worried the u12a would not cool the I9 but it’s been fine. Almost wish I had got the KS. The v3 gpu mount allowed me to center the 4090 so it’s not too close to the glass or the MB. Using the Nvidia auto settings to control gpu fans instead of PS as the fans don’t need to spin up on idle. They spin up under load and have not gone over 65c yet. I’m getting the full 5600MHz out of my ram but have not found any rgb ram that work with the stock MB. Also tried the predator vesta rgb ram it wouldn’t sense with any software and crashed under xmp. Sticking with the Corsair ram for now. The cpu upgrade and extra 1600MHz ram speed is noticeable. Thermals shown on Predator sense are at idle and in Cyberpunk under load. Playing at 4k ultra settings with full ray tracing and dlss 3 optimized for image quality. FPS hanging in the 90s
