How can i stop charging at 80% in linux ?

I tried check out sys/power_supply but there is not any file for charge threshold

    Forget about battery "Charging Thresholds" that is an unproven myth, not applicable to LIBs with a Smart chip that diverts all power provided by the adapter after 100% charge. You can leave your laptop charged to 100% plugged-in 24/7 without any issues. I have done so with several laptops and got more than 5 years life out of my batteries. 😉

    Not recommended in either Windows or Linux since the evidence for extending battery life is mainly anecdotal, not statistically proven. But if you must try to do it anyway, it all depends on your model number. For example AN515-54. And also if you're linux is installed alongside Windows since it is a firmware level control officially accessed by a proprietary Acer Windows app that, like BIOS firmware updates, won't work in the Linux environment.
