Orion 5000 PO5-640 GPU upgrade do i need a new psu?

was going to install a 3090 but was told that i would need the cords/pins for the 3090 and asked if they are in the psu modular or in the basement of the case i have no idea and looking for some one with the experiance of upgrading , if they know if we do have the connectors

my orion 5000 is a 3080 , i7-12700f just incase its needed

    what 3090? and what does its connection look like compared to the 2x8 pin for the 3080?

    You have an 800W PSU, which should be good enough for the 3090. As Chug asks, with the board you are selecting what power connectors does it require? Some use two 8pin, some a single 12 pin, some something else. I believe your 3080 is using two 8pin… I'm guessing you got some really good deal on the 3090? If I were needing to upgrade my video I'd be much more likely to buy a 40x0 than a 3090, the 3090 is only a fairly small incremental change.
