Acer Chromebook Model CB3-532 Won't Boot

It stopped playing during watching a video and displayed the error message "Missing or Damaged OS"

However, it will not reboot. It has never been dropped… and won't boot off of even the newest image (bootable thumb drive).

It keeps stating "An unexpected error has occurred" yet never states what that error is.

Anyone know how to fix this issue?

Likely the drive has died. :( Those models came with either a 32GB or 64GB eMMC drive. eMMC drives are well known to have a shorter life than other SSD designs, but they are enough cheaper that they are often used on the cheap models. Unfortunately they are a pain to replace, because they are soldered to the motherboard. IIRC your Chromebook is around 6-7 years old so likely the best next step is to just replace it.
