Good day. I have a Nitro 5 AN515-52 which originally has windows 10 OS. When I updgraded the OS to Windows 11, the connected headphone cannot be detected anymore. I already tried reinstalling the driver but it didn't fix the issue. Also, I noticed that the driver downloads only list Windows 10. Any ideas how to fix this? Thank you very much.

This is a Bluetooth Headset, did you turn-on Bluetooth in Windows11. Check if the Headset BT version supports Windows11.

If BT is not working or you only can find W10 version drivers online, uninstall your BT driver in Device manager and reboot, Windows11 will install the correct BT driver.

Sorry for the confusion. The headset is cabled headset connected to the headphone jack. What happens is that even if I connect the headset to the audio jack, the audio devices in the volume of windows 11 doesn't include an option to choose the connected headset.

The phone jack is integrated with the laptop, did you check your sound settings in Windows can you see the Headset, are your internal speakers working, maybe your audio is turned off in Windows? Try another headset with the correct plug.

If you upgraded with an ISO file and USB drive you may have non-W11 compatible sound drivers. Uninstall the Realtek driver with DDU (Wagnardsoft.com) in Safe Mode and reboot (don't manually install sound drivers) Windows11 will install compatible drivers.

The phone jack is integrated with the laptop - Yes

did you check your sound settings in Windows can you see the Headset - Nope. The only options for Realtek are the speakers

are your internal speakers working, maybe your audio is turned off in Windows? - Internal speakers are working perfectly.

Try another headset with the correct plug. - I already tried three different headsets and all of them are working properly in another laptop that I use so I am sure it has nothing to do with the headset I used.

Uninstall the Realtek driver with DDU (Wagnardsoft.com) in Safe Mode and reboot (don't manually install sound drivers) Windows11 will install compatible drivers. - I'll try this out and I will update this thread for the result of my attempt. Thanks for this suggestion.

I tried uninstalling the realtek drivers using DDU (clean and restart option). No noticeable changes. Headset cannot be detected.
