So hi guys i have nitro 5 an515-58 i5 12500h rtx 3050 and when i bought the laptop i was facing high cpu temps i went to acer store philippines mega mall and there the cpu temps idle was 45-48 which impressed me while in home my temps are 55-62 and today when i opened my laptop my temps are 45 still no difference since then. I realized having low fps in minecraft around 120 uncapped and i saw that minecraft uses my iris xe graphic not my main gpu so from nvidea control panel i selected my main rtx 3050 and then boom 300-400 fps but with 87-92 degrees playing rdr 2 before selecting my main gpu was 74 balanced mode and fans auto but as soon i applied my main gpu it suddenly goes 92 degrees and sometimes 89 or 87 fluctuating. So here i mean to say before appliying my main gpu (auto select option was applied) it was under control but having low fps in minecraft however, after doing it i experienced same issue like 92 and when my wattage goes 25 or 35 suddenly 74 degrees in cpu and then as soon it increase to 45 wattage 88-90 degrees

pls help me

First of all you have to realise that if you play high end and high heat generating games in the Philippines and in weather environments of and like 32°C ++ (unless you have and play games in an air con room?) your laptops main RTX3050 GPU is made to operate at those high temps, as the RTX3050 GPU is set automatically to turn off at a set temp of 95°C and its CPU is set to turn off at 100°C. Your AN515-58 Nitro high gaming temps are normal, this laptop is designed to operate at those temps.

Btw, I’m speaking from personal experience as I’ve got virtually the same Nitro laptop the model AN515-56 and I don’t have any of those issues with the RTX3050 and its i7-11370H CPU. Make sure that your laptop operates under Win-11 OS, that it always has the latest Nvidia GPU drivers, make sure that the games that you play are through the Nvidia GeForce Experience software (as this software has over 1500 games settings) of Nvidia ultimate and best game settings, that gives the best FPS and temps for playing games through the Nvidia GPUs and also set all the games to the High-performance NVidia processor in the Nvidia Control Panel, as setting all these settings up that way, will make your games perform to their best performance through your Nvidia RTX3050 GPU, as that is why these software’s are available from NVidia.

Yes, that is normal as the integrated Intel Xi graphics doesn't overheat as much as the NVidia RTX3050, be aware of that as when you play games on the RTX3050 the gpu is used fully and your games graphics are utelized to the full extent of the game, hence and why the gpu overheats.
