Acer can compete by keeping the price below other gaming laptops at the cost of skipping less important items like HI-FI speakers. High-capacity super fast Gen 4x4 SSDs are very expensive so are large HDR screens. AMDs cost less than 12th gen Intel i7 CPU's, etc. If you want all that plus HI-FI be prepared to pay an additional $200-300 more than what you paid for the Nitro5.

I last year i buy ( ACER Nitro 5 (AN517-54-94G2) 17.3-inch gaming laptop, 144 Hz and RGB keyboard lighting, Intel® Core™ i9 processor, 16 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 ) I bought the Notebook at a discount of $1,299, the standard price was $1,499. If it comes to the competition, Asus Rog 17" has the same segment specifications as the Gen 4x4 SSD and HDR screen size you mentioned in the some Acer Nitro 5 models, but the Asus Rog is the same price as the Acer Nitro. But the Asus Rog has Hi-Res Audio and Dolby-Atmos Audio. $1,299 is not a cheap price, but if the buyer is paying a premium, Dolby-Atmos and Hi-Res Audio should be included.

So what made you buy the Acer then (much cheaper)!
Comparison between the ASUS Rog17 and Acer Nitro5:

    AN517-54-94G2: $1,400 your price
Intel 11th Gen. i9 11900K (and MUX switch?) 8 core CPU.

ROG Strix SCAR 17 G733 2022: $3,000 Amazon (lower models do not compare with the Intel i9 11900K CPU)
AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX, 12 core bigger CPU.

The ROG is far more expensive, the i9-11900K is newer and the fastest CPU in Intel’s 11th Gen Rocket Lake-S lineup which brings higher IPC (early samples indicate +19%) and 50% stronger integrated graphics (Bech review)

Any time at any day I would prefer an Intel CPU over AMD, better flexibility RAM with uneven size DDRs, major issues upgrading RAM with AMD CPU, even the rank and timing need to match. Then there is the iGPU, not familiar with AMD Radeon 8 Graphics but I know that the Intel Iris Xe is awesome. The models above don't have iGP so that argument is moot.

If your budget is huge, the ROG offers better speakers and if you like AMD then ASUS would be a better buy.

@Puraw I am very satisfied with the my new Acer Nitro 5 Notebook I bought, It is a with a very nice modern design, 17" screen is big, 144 Hz 3Ms, the material quality is very high. which works quickly both in terms of i9 processor and Geforce RTX video card works very fast even without Dolby-Atmos or Hi-Res audio is enough. I have always bought Acer Notebook. So, as you said, I made the right decision and bought Acer Nitro 5 AN517-54-94 G2 Model. This Notebook is worth the money I paid. Thank you for the support and detailed information.
