Acer laptop TravelMate P459 Boot up issue the laptop doesn't power up or turn on.

Hi everyone. My Acer laptop TravelMate P459 (Model N16P8) turned off while I was using it and when I try to turn it back on it wouldn't until now. When pressing power button, power flash light turns on but the laptop don't power up or turn on. My battery life was fine, could last almost the whole day without charging. Please help I'm stuck

Do the Battery Reset and Power drain procedure together. unplug and take off the back cover of the latop, disconnect the battery cable from the motherboard and locate the CMOS capsule (size of large coin). open the enclosure, take out the coin battery and shorten the +/- contacts inside the CMOS capsule with a bended paperclip for a second, put the battery back and close the CMOS capsule. Open the RAM slot(s) and take out the DDR module(s), put them back in the slot(s) all the way and close the slot bracket(s). Press the Power Button down for a full 2 minutes to drain any statics. Close the laptop, plug-in the power adapter and boot without battery. If that works, unplug and connect the battery cable to the motherboard, close the laptop again. Now try to boot with the battery only, if that does not work you have to replace your battery (probably 1 dead cell).

Do the below first. as this is the easiest way to reset the battery if this doesn't work, then do a Hard Reset and open the back of the laptop like described above.

And between those two is the full reset procedure using the button. Disconnect everything, including power, then press and hold the reset for 15-30 seconds. Release and wait 15-30 minutes then plug in only the charger. Wait for the full battery indication and only then turn it back on.

Thanks a lot. I tried your tricks and it worked. My laptop in back on. Now the problem is, it turns of as soon as I lift it

Unplug, open the back again and check the battery cable connector on the motherboard, maybe not making proper contact, unplug and carefully plug again with your fingernails, don't use plyers or a screwdriver. Also check the DDR RAM slot(s), maybe not seated properly.
