Predator Helios 300 G3-572 Can't use BIOS on external display with cracked monitor

Hi. Yesterday, I was cleaning up my house and took my old Predator Helios 300 (I believe it's the G3-572) out and went to close it's lid. But I forgot on the model I received, I received a faulty hinge, and instead of closing it the way Id normally, the hinge stuck and bent the display. As a result, the screen cracked and the right half of the display is utterly unusable.

Now, I have to mess around with my BIOS time to time. The device doesn't mirror the display until Windows starts up, and even when I'm in the BIOS, it doesn't show on the external monitor whatsoever. I've tried everything I've found online to get it to recognize the external display as primary— unplugging the broken laptop display, spamming FN+F5 when I'm in the BIOS, and lining up strong kitchen magnets above the keyboard to trick it into thinking the lid is closed (the lid is just separated altogether).

Nothing has worked. I can still plug in the broken display to view the BIOS for the time being if there's something I have to see the BIOS for to turn it on, but I'm hoping to get rid of it altogether. Any suggestions?

I should add, I haven't yet disconnected the little display cable from the motherboard. I've been afraid I'll break something and I don't want to risk it if it's not going to do anything and I haven't tried everything else yet.

Turn the machine on and immediately start tapping the F2 key for about 10 seconds. Then press the FN+F5 to try to toggle the external screen.

I suggest bringing the laptop to Acer Services in your country and get the screen and hinges replaced, may cost you up to $200; the laptop is 4-5 years old and you may want to consider migrating to a W11 gaming laptop. You should not have to touch BIOS ever.

Thank you Puraw but as I said before I already had tried that multiple times, but nothing still happens. Is there some setting in the BIOS that I need to change first? Or maybe something I have to update with software?

I'm not getting a replacement for the display nor do I need to upgrade laptops. I don't need it so long as I can just get the BIOS to display on my other monitor

In some BIOS you can disable/enable iGPU but that would affect your external monitor too.
