When I boot up my Acer Aspire E5-575, it opens, and gets stuck on "preparing automatic repair".

How do I fix this? I've left it for a few days and tried again; no change. I've opened and closed it, pressing the power button three times; no change. And i've left it open for several hours (6); no change. Is there a way I can fix this without going in to have it repaired? My family refuses to pay for it because apparently it's "too cheap to fix". Please help!!

At the Acer logo immediately press Alt+F10, this will open the WindowsRE blue screen, you can either restore an image backup file if you made one with W7 backup or restore an earlier saved restore point (registry) if the system is not corrupted. If none of that applies to you, Reset this PC is the easiest without losing your files.

Alternatively try to Restart (Troubleshoot menu) in Safe Mode (F4 or 4) and disable your GPU drivers, all Services and Startup apps (perform a Clean Boot) with MSconfig.exe. If Clean Boot works you have to activate Windows Services again, reboot, and then uncheck "Base Video" (MSconfig Boot tab), a very tedious job.
