The acer_wmi kernel module is not getting loaded. Meaning that I'm unable to do things such as controlling the brightness of my laptop. It's a Debian bookworm installed on AN515-58.

The error when I try to manually load it using sudo modprobe acer-wmi is:

modprobe: ERROR: could not insert 'acer_wmi': Input/output error

This kernel module is installed but is not getting loaded.
