Predator Triton 500 SE won't power on

My indicator lights are showing that I have a full charge when power is connected to the device. When I try to power cycle my machine, the power light turns on for about 3 seconds with no other indication of life, and then shuts off again. 😬

I've tried to enter the BIOS menu, with no luck. I'm sweating a little about the small fortune spent to have this machine, so any known workaround will be a great relief. Thank you in advance for trying. 😎

  • Hello! What is the exact model? Example: AN515-55-5890. Have you tried resetting the battery? Have you tried disconnecting the lithium battery from the motherboard?

Do a battery reset like Acer guides you in the manual below:

If the above doesn't work then do a Hard Reset, by taking the back cover of, thake the main battery out, disconnect the RTC/BIOS battery and shorts its +&- pins with a pair of tweezers or a paper clip, then take the ram modules out, leave everything disoriented for at least 15min and reconnect everything back, and reboot, as your laptop should boot and work 100%.
