I have an acer predator hellios 300 with rtx 2060, 16gb ram and intel core i7 9th gen with NVIDIA graphics driver. My games on steam have started stuttering. They never used to stutter before however slowly, its like the graphics and everything is all good however, the game will be working smoothly with like fps drop and stuttering in every 3 to 4 minutes or so, happening again and again.

My games are up to date
My windows is up-to date
My graphics driver is up-to date
NVIDIA graphics card is set to high performance
Battery settings are set to favor performance

I tried to see if my laptop was overheating, but i didn't face any thermal throttling so far.Every time I play any game i get CPU temperatures around 92 and GPU around 86.

Recently with turbo mode (overclocking) I have been getting

CPU 92 and GPU 91 degrees Celsius

Idle temps are around

61 deg cpu and 59 deg gpu

min temps are

60 cpu and 58 gpu

What do I do?
Ive tried everything, I even tried undervolting ad under-boosting using the throttlestop application. To make sure any gpu underperforming issues can be catered to however nothing seems to be of help. Its a very icky and annoying situation by now to be honest

User benchmark:

While gaming:

I even followed this guide for my laptop's model

Yet my temperatures still remain in the 90 - 93 degrees Celsius range and the frame-rate lag/ drop issue still persists

Someone kinnddlyy help me outt!

@FawazIndeedh11 try to clean the laptop and replace the thermal paste. How do you know that the laptop is not thermal throttling while gaming?

@AnhEZ28 I have the same problem!I cleaned the laptop and replaced it with thermal paste for 2 weeks, everything is fine and it started again 95-100 degrees!I replaced the thermal paste again, but already with an expensive one for 12,000KZT, the problem also remained after 1.5 weeks.

@SkyN6T what is the name of the thermal paste? Did you also disassemble the fan to clean the heatsink vent?
