Nitro AN515-43 Laptop won't boot after replacing EDP-cable

Hi,
I had to replace the EDP-cable as it was broken and there was no LCD coming up.
Replaced the EDP-cable, tested it before closing the laptop and the screen was looking fine (booted into Windows).
Had some problems getting the laptop closed again and managing the EDP-cable was sitting in its place.
After closing the laptop it won't boot anymore. Keyboard-lights come up for 2 seconds and the laptop goes down again.
Already searched the internet and did things like:
- disconnecting the battery + cmos-battery
- disconnecting the hard drive, memory and wifi-module.

All these things didn't work…
Any ideas left that I could try?

Sorry. From your description, I suspect the new cable was also irreparably damaged in the hinge area just like the old cable, Common problem due to the tight fit and open/closing the lid too much. I suggest not trying to force it. But getting yet another new cable. Take extra care in running it through the hinge area. And maybe try to minimize opening/closing the lid too much.

Just in addition, always make sure that the main battery is always disconnected when you change the eDP cable and you disconnect the plugs from the screen and the mobo, as if its NOT, you will damage the screen and laptop and you will definitely need to replace the screen and fix certain ON/OFF laptop power issues, so be very careful and always disconnect the MAIN BATTERY FIRST!

Make sure that you have the correct eDP cable for your AN515-43s screen of either the 60Hz or the 144Hz refresher rates listed below:
