Does A315-41G-R7HY support M.2 SATA or NVMe SSDs?

I recently discovered that my bootloader SATA ribbon cable might've been corrupted. This doesn't allow me to boot from any other external HDD anymore so my only choice is to get an M.2 SSD and clean install Windows onto it.

I heard that this laptop has a hidden M.2 slot inside its casing. I opened up the laptop and found that the M.2 seems to only be fit for NVMe. I am not fully sure about the compatibility of the M.2 slot. I've seen many people with the same A315-41 models use M.2 SATA and mentioned that NVMe is not supported.

I need confirmation on the compatibility of the M.2 slot of this laptop before I make my purchase.
