I have an Acer Nitro AN 517-51 Laptop with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 and when I play games my temperatures have been getting unually hot. I mean I know that it usually does get a bit higher, but not as high as it has been getting. It has reached a max of 203 degrees F , and usually stays around 180 - 190 dgrees F. I play with the laptop plugged in, and launch my game from The Geforce Experience application, and it still has not improved. What should or can I do to improve this?

Thank you, I appreciate the help! I will try these things and see how they help, but I have uninstalled all the programs that I am able to , as far as I know. I will do the other things you suggested, because I have not tried some of them. I have considered buying a cooling fan, but I was worried because I read online that they can damage your laptop, which made me nervous. Thank you again!

95°C. is normal under heavy load, your CPU can sustain 100°C. Get a good 5-fan cooling pad the full size of your laptop and reduce the max. processor power state when on power from 100 to 95-99% that will stop the overheating. Change your power plan from Ultra-High to Balanced Plan. Reduce the load on the CPU by minimizing programs running at the background like 3rd party AV and Startup programs, check in Task Manager what is running. Uninstall some programs you don't need and get rid of any bloatware. Type Storage Sense in Search and let it scan your c:\ drive, click on the Temp bin at the bottom and scan your Windows update caches, may find hundreds of GB redundant files like OldDos, delete everthing and trim (Optimize) your drives.
