Is the touchpad supposed to click twice as you push down on the bottom left? The bottom right side of mine clicks once, but on the left side, there is an initial click as you push to which it doesnt respond and then a second click as you push deeper which actually activates a left click on the computer. My other laptops don't do that. I'm wondering if that is on purpose or it is a slight defect in the touchpad. I almost exclusively use a mouse so not too worried about it and I can also just touch the touchpad for most left clicks, but just wondering.

    Touchpads (Elan and Synaptics) for Windows are universal, I have never heard of a "double Click" action when pressing the left corner (or left button of mice) it would defeat Windows protocol. You can customize your Touchpad in Windows11 here:

    You may have to reset your touchpad as there could be a wrong registry entry, if that does not help, uninstall the Touchpad driver in Device Manager but before you do make sure your USB mouse is connected to navigate afterwards, reboot and Windows will install the touchpad driver:
