Predator PT315-51 Is this common? this particular model have overheating problems?

Hi, i bought my first gaming notebook and notebook in general i used table pc only before, i have a bit problem with overheating my model is Predator PT315-51 is overeatin problem in general with gaming notebooks or does this particular model have overheating problems? I use external fan pad but when i play something CPU commonly reaches around 90 celsius then i have to max my fans through predator sense and it goes down to like 85. Is it normal or is something wrong ?

    Nothing wrong, this is normal, some suggestions that mitigate the overheating:

    Disabling the turbo boost. (Turbo button off, but you turn the CPU in a i3)
    Limit the Maximum CPU State to 95-99% (Power Plan Advanced setting)
    Disable all background apps (Check Task Manager what is running)
    Use Balanced Power Plan (Don't use Ultra or High Performance plan)
    Raise the laptop a little or use a cooling pad (powerful, silent, 5-fan units are for sale).

    Tweaking Predator sense registry: Undervolt hack, many posts on this subject, not recommended.
