Sudden onset of GPU Heat issues with a Nitro 5 AN515-45

In Aug. 2022, I purchased a Acer Nitro 5 (Nitro AN515-45) with AMD processor and a 3060 GPU. It is running Win 10 and the latest video drivers.

When play Elder Scroll Online, my GPU runs hot, eg. about 50-80 C. (I am running a cooling pad)

From my purchase, until one week ago, I had not experienced this heat issue. So, I am confused as to why a heating issue would manifest and escalate over such a short period.

Also, Is there any way to determine if there is an an issue with the GPU fan or Defective thermal paste without opening the unit?

Thank You

Temps of 50°C-80°C are NOT high for your laptop, these laptops are designed to run hot and have a turnoff OS CPU temp at 100°C and GPU at 95°C, so don't worry as the range of temps you are getting are very normal. Always make sure that the NVidia GPU drivers are up to date and play all games that can be played and are included in the Geforce Experience Software settings, as the GFE is specially designed by NVidia for all games ultimate and best settings for the GPU of your laptop. In my opinion, the best way for you to play the Elder Scroll Online games is to get the best settings for the various games through this games forums, as the NVidia GFE does not have any settings for the Elder Scroll Online games but has settings for more than 1500 of the major games around, so use the GFE settings for gaming always, as that is the best way to play games with an NVidia GPU, also keep your windows updated, and the AMD drivers updated always.

Note: I would strongly recommend that you upgrade to Win-11 OS, the Nitro AN515-45 laptop was designed for Win-11 and NOT Win-10 and using Win-10 will stress components more than they should be stressed, hence and why your laptop overheats.

THe drivers are up to date. I am just curious why the laptop had no thermal issues for 8 months and then "bang" big GPU heat spikes.

Also, if Win 10 is the issue, why was it not an issue in March, or Jan, or 2022?
