This Nitro ws purchased used and apparently registered to the previous owner. Despite my best efforts, the previous owner didn't care to unregister it after he sold it to me. How do I change the registration into my name?

Is the AN515-55 still have the Acer 12 months warranty, if it does, then it does not matter if your name is not registered with Acer, as long as you have proof of ownership (like a receipt with the laptops S/N ). If the laptop is out of the Acer 12 months warranty, then it makes no difference as you have no ties to Acer at all unless any parts are recalled by Acer which covers all AN515-55 laptops, so your laptop doesn't need to be registered under your name. The Acer registration is for a new product and mainly for warranty reasons, but it can be transferred to a buyer like, as you need proof of purchase to have any warranty work done on your laptop by Acer. Those are the conditions.

I understand all that - thank-you, but I've owned this laptop for well over a year now and I just want it registered to me for my own peace of mind. So, having said that, how do I do it?
