Hi Guys!

I have just bought a nitro 5 with 1 tb ssd and hdd, but I can only see one driver. So there is disk C with almost 1 tb of storage space, but instead of disk D, I have windriver D, which contains the drivers for the PC, but I would like to use that another 1tb of storage. So please anyone can tell how to locate disk D?

That Windriver D you see in File Explorer is a partition volume on one of your drives, possibly created by Acer, you can hide that.

Open BIOS (F2) and check if your PCIe SSD is listed on the Information tab (first page); if it is but Windows does not detect the SSD, Exit BIOS and boot to Windows, open Disk Manager and click on the SSD drive, make sure it is formatted as GPT and not MBR and if it has a drive letter other than C:\ or D.

If you don't see the SSD in BIOS, you may have a PCIe 2.0 port issue, try to disable Secure Boot in BIOS and reboot. If still not detected enable Secure Boot again as that is required for security in Windows. Bring the laptop back to the retailer and let them sort out possible M.2 or NVMe Gen.4 SSD compatibility issues with the PCIe 2.0 port.
