good night everyone I have a rather strange problem that I cannot find an answer to in Google. after receiving physical damage 3 days ago my laptop stopped starting, after which the repair said that I broke 1 of the ssd slots and it needs to be repaired, but I refused because there is 1 more slot. however, the last day I started hearing strange beeping sounds, it used to happen once every hour when the laptop was on, but now I hear it even when it's off. acer nitro 5 model, I will be grateful for your help

Is this the AN515-52 model with a 1TB mechanical 2.5" Sata HDD?

My guess is that the noise is coming from one of the 2 fan motors that is at its end (4 years?), cheap to replace ($30 for a set of 2).

If you have a mechanical 2.5" Sata HDD those can get noisy too and really slow after 4-5 years but you would have noticed that. You can replace the HDD with a 2.5" 1TB Sata SSD (Samsung EVO 870, V_NAND, $60).

What is the exact Nitro 5 model number, as the Nitro laptops Boot SSD#1 port that is broken is shortening out and causing this beeping noise, you need to get that #1 SSD M.2 port of the motherboard changed with a new plug and the motherboard traces inspected and fixed if they are broken (as that beeping sound signifies that there is a short and the port is not working) if you don't, you are allowing the motherboard to be damaged beyond repair and you will have to replace the motherboard, which will cost you 10 times more than a new M.2 SSD plug a Nitro 5 motherboard (depend how old it is) but a new one can cost you USD 1200 new, if you can get one? so be aware of all this.

Note: the #2 SSD M.2 drive port has a 35% slower M.2 speed than the #1 SSD M.2 boot port, and not fixing the M.2 boot port your laptop will be performing at a 40% slower speed, so get the M.2 SSD #1 boot port fixed and also get the technician to inspect if the motherboard is not cracked or its circuitry traces are not damaged also.
